Paper Plate Wreath Craft

Here’s a paper plate wreath craft - A simple and festive Christmas Wreath craft activity is enough for toddlers and preschool children to make. All you need is a paper plate, paint, fingers and a little imagination!
So, what are you waiting for?  Let’s craft a Paper Plate Christmas Wreath!
Craft items you will need:
  • Paper plate
  • Dark Green paint
  • Big red colour ribbon bow
  • Light Green coloured paper leaves
  • Scissors
  • Hole puncher
  • Cello tape
Craft instructions:
Using scissors, have the children cut a hole in the center of a paper plate.
Next, have the children paint the paper plate ring in green. Let it dry.
Then, Decorate the wreath, with Big red bow in the centre and green coloured leaves all around.
Let dry.
And, voila! The children have now made a paper plate wreath craft for Christmas!  
What a colorful and festive Christmas craft activity for kids.

Paper Plate Craft - Jumping Frog

Paper Plate Craft - Jumping Frog 



Method:
1. On the back side of a paper plate, Paint Green
2. After drying, fold the round paper plate into half to make a semicircle (or a D shape).
3. Cut out a pair of fore-arms and hind legs for your frog from green fluorescent paper, a pair of eyes from white paper and a tongue from red paper.
4. On a white construction sheet (any colour would do - preferably light colour), Partly paste the hind legs of a frog. Apply glue on the back side of the D-shaped green paper plate. (make sure it opens from the semicircular side).
5. Open your paper plate and now stick the forearms on the inside of the paper plate and now paste the tongue also on the inner side.
6. Close the paper plate back and stick eyes on the face.
7. Using black marker, outline the eyes and make black eye balls for your frog.
And.....here you go!!!

Paper Plate Craft - Tribal Face Wall hanging

Tribal Face Wall Hanging

Simple and Easy to make crafts during summer vacations with kids.


Steps:
1. On a thermocol plate, cut out a pair of eyes and lips portion on the plate with the help of a blade/knife. 
2. Take news paper and roll it with hand. On the base (back side) of the thermocol plate, Stick the rolled newspaper strip on the edges of the eyes and mouth portion to give it an embossed effect. Leave it to dry for 5-10 mins
3. After drying, Paint the entire face in brown. 
4. Along the circumference of the round plate put white coloured dots, using white acrylic or poster colours.
5. Take coloured strips of crepe paper ribbon to make the hair of your tribal man.
6. Decorate the face using thermocol beads.
7. Using white acrylic or poster colour, give final touches to the face.
8. Using fevicol, stick this plate to a coloured construction sheet to form a base of your wall hanging. Alternatively, punch two holes on each sides and tie elastic thread to form a mask for kids to play.

Paper Plate Craft - Sparkling Sun

Sparkling Sun

A very easy craft to do with kids during summer break. This Vibrant and Smiling Sun made out of paper plate hangs pleasing in your balcony marking the advent of summers.


Steps:
1. Take a paper plate (not thermocol plate) and paint it in yellow.
2. Cut orange and yellow coloured triangles 
3. Stick on the outer side of the rounded plate. (yellow painted surface should be on the top).
4. Using a marker, create eyes, nose and lips to make a happy and glowing sun. Alternatively use wiggly eyes and a red coloured pom pom ball for the nose.
5. Tie a ribbon at the back to make a small loop.
